Kristan Ginnings is the new President and CEO of United Way of Washington County, TN effective April 2, 2018.
Prior to joining United Way she had 14 years of banking experience in a variety of roles throughout the Tri-Cities TN Market. She was most recently the Vice President and Market Executive for First Citizens Bank. Kristan's responsibilities included leading the company's banking initiatives in the Tri-Cities TN market while specializing in business and commercial lending. Kristan was instrumental in First Citizens Bank being nominated and selected as the 2017 Faith in the Future Award Winner in the Professional Services Division.
Kristan received a bachelor's degree from East Tennessee State University and an MBA from King College. She is a graduate of the Johnson City Chamber of Commerce Leadership 2020 program and now serves as the program chair. She is also an allocations connnittee member for the United Way of Washington County TN, a board member for CASA ofNortheast TN, a board member for the Johnson City Chamber ofConnnerce Workforce, Education, and Industrial Council, and an adjunct professor at East Tennessee State University. She was also selected as an honoree for the 2017 Tri-Cities Business Journal 40 under Forty award. Kristan currently resides in her hometown of Jonesborough, TN with her 8 year old son, Reed.
