Community Impact Grant
The United Way of Washington County Tennessee conducts a Community Needs Assessment Forum every three years. All Non-Profit Service Organizations in Johnson City, Jonesborough, and Washington County, Tennessee, are invited to participate.
The forum brings together providers and users of health and human services to identify and prioritize needs and determine unmet needs for children, adults and people who are at risk. The assessment creates tangible impact in our community through serving and developing additional Partnership Agencies that will continue to "Make Lasting Changes, Right Here Where We Live."
It also helps the United Way of Washington County Tennessee create a framework that helps us generate more resources, provide services more effectively and meet priority future needs.
When Funds are available, the United Way of Washington County Tennessee accepts Community Impact Grants from the programs serving Johnson City, Jonesborough and Washington County that fill an identified priority service gap in the community. A Community Impact Grant Review Committee reviews the applications.
